Politically correct Preamble to the Declaration of Independence
“We, meaning everyone in that ‘we’ are not exclusivists, hold these apparent accuracies, though we are open to them being completely restructured, adapted and reformed to fit the changing times and we would never be so arrogant as to proclaim that we have a corner on so-called ‘truths’, to be formulated in such a way that everyone should be able to understand them, though we sympathize and do not judge you if you do not, that all men and women and non-gendered self-identifiers, and indeed animals and likely plants, especially trees, have evolved to a such a high estate that they are all to be considered equal, and are endowed by the reality of their innate common ancestor, which ultimately would have a single-celled microbe, with certain privileges granted by the social contract of very highly evolved people with large pre-frontal cortexes, and among these privileges are freedom of choice, liberty in general, so long as your liberty does not offend anyone, and, above all, the pursuit of happiness.”
